traveling with a 2000 GooseNeck LQ 3 horse trailer. we noticed the front nose of the slant lifted a couple of inches. we found there was a plate tack welded to the frame of the nose wall. this plate used the marker light screws to hold the roof in place. i was told the molding acts as a pinch band to hold the roof in place. however i'm still trying understand how i can resolve this issue without dismantling the front plate as well as fitting the roof down on the wall correctly. anyone else with this issue.

Hello
you should contact the factory for a cure - the Hawk roof is made by a welded frame encased in fiberglass then secured to the top rail of the trailer wall frame, looks to me in the photo that the fiberglass is torn away from the roof frame  / some how the roof frame is still attached but the glass is torn - the factory to advise is the best choice
