Right where the tank has its spout to connect to the 3' plastic piping there is a leak at the seam of the pipe.  I tried using flex seal but it did'nt work (maybe because it was still wet, even though supposedly you can apply when wet).  anyway, looking for any tips to get this fixed.  Thanks!

I try to repair everything in the house on my own. To my happiness, God has rewarded me with the talent for hard work, and I am practically coping with everything.

I also can easily change the outlet or assemble a cabinet from IKEA like a professional, but I have never been able to cope with the pipeline. I have a rather old house, and of course, the drain pipes are about the same age. Small leaks are something commonplace for us, and my only salvation is duct tape. But unfortunately, the place of one crack gradually turned into a large leak, which I could only stop completely blocking the water supply to the house. I decided not to take any more chances and called the guys with https://www.wilcoplumbing.com.au/blocked-drains-northern-beaches/, who quickly solved my problem.

Plumbing connections are a chemical weld. Often referred to as glue, but technically a weld. You may try some sealant, but generally it takes disassembly and proper reassembly.
