So one of my tail lights on my 2002 Elite trailer is not working. i thought this may be a good time to replace them with LED lights. I could take it to shop, but if it was possible.......I would try to replace them myself. Hmmm If i could manage this job, would I need load resisters? Words of wisdom? Thanks Joan

When I converted the lights on my truck to LED, I needed to add the resisters. I have done my LQ horse trailer and my 4-horse trailers to LED and did not need resisters. Both have worked well for past 3 years.
If you do some research, you can find LED lights with the same holds for mounting that you currently have. I found my lights thru Redneck Trailer.
Just be aware LED cost considerable more than old style lights.
