I am considering a 2019 Sundowner Super Sport 2 horse, slant load, bumper pull trailer pulled with my 2004 Toyota Tundra 8 cyl. Truck. I have a small quarterhorse mare that I will be taking to local shows, the occasional clinic and weekend trail rides. The most is four hours away.

I’d like your thoughts about my setup. Thanks.

Make sure you have a quality brake controller like a Prodigy, and you'll be fine. Will likely pull better with horse in front stall. We have had some customers install a snap on the divider so it can be held open, and give horse both stalls. Your preference. I have customers who use a weight distribution hitch and share they appreciate the "feel" with the hitch. But by the numbers, it isn't required.

I would seriously consider another trailer manufacturer, not a fan of Sundowner.
