I am thinking of ordering a new trailer and was thinking of getting 1/2 mid tack instead of mangers.   Would like to hear pro and cons of 1/2 mid tack.    I am thinking of 7 1/2' wide instead of 8'.    I have an 8' wide now with managers and one that is 7' wide without so I have used both, but don't want to miss something that someone else may have had experience with.

An 8' wide slant load without mangers sure does give some horses the opportunity to try and climb up on an inner fenderwell and then fall down. The rumpside doesn't seem to have any issues other than them rubbing with their shoe's calk and scuffing the rubber. Headside a different story.
