I am looking for information or past posts on specific instruction on removing Sundowner Suncoat. I pulled the rubber mats and see splits in the Suncoat. Think I have to repair this issue.
1. How does one remove the Suncoat? 2. Wire brush or Muruatic acid wash the floor after Suncoast removal. What order? 3. If floor is solid, just install new aluninum sheets How to secure sheets to floor? What type of clauk on seams?

Generally, the SunCoat removal is fairly straightforward. We generally take a utility knife and slice around the perimeter of the trailer's floor. The Suncoat will be stuck to the walls well, and not to the floor. Once you cut it, it usually pulls right up from the floor in a single sheet. If it is stuck, a scraper can help.
Once that is done, treat it like any regular aluminum extruded trailer floor. If it is corroded, then muriatic is a great cleaner. Soap and water after that. I see no need to place anything on top of it, unless it is damaged, then each case is different.
Frankly- I suggest pulling it up from most any floor. It seemed like a good idea at the time, that has caused more issues than it saved.

I have a Sundowner... Like RT says, cut at the walls and pull it up. Any places that is stuck, use a scraper to get it loose. I did seal between the floor and wall. Especially the front wall. You don't want urine to get under the LQ/Dressing room floor.
