I am looking for a new LQ trailer. A local dealer has the Lakota Colt in stock. 3 horse with 9 ft short wall. The Lakota Colts have wood floor versus the charger with all aluminum. Its comes with a life time warranty on the wood floor. I am little skeptical of the wood floor. Does any have any input on whether its a good idea or bad?

I'm a fan of wood floors due to my Featherlite being a 1992 and the floor is still in good shape. I'm pretty good about taking care of it, but not to the point of taking mats out every time I trailer. I've also been lucky that none of my horses in all those years pee in the trailer. It's happened a handful of times, but not regularly. Make sure the wood is pressure treated. Good luck!
