Hi, I would like to put handles on the head windows of my 2002 Elite. Just position the handles and screw them on with stainless steel screws? What is between the interior and exterior sheets of aluminum? Wood? some type of insulation? I'm a little fearful to do this as there is no room for error. Thanks!

It depends on how hard you will pull the handle, and exactly where you place it. You can call Elite at 405-745-5757 and one of their service guys can tell you exactly how it was made. Most have an aluminum tube frame, center filled with insulation, and then the window. A screw in the frame will hold well, in to the skin not so much.
