I have heard to horror stories about flat/blown out trailer tires. Has anyone tried any these after market tire pressure monitors that I see on Amazon and the internet? I'm wondering if they are a hassle and if they work?

I used the one Mr Trailer recommends (Pressure Pro) on a previous rig. It was a great piece of mind running across TX in 106 temps! It has 10 sensors so you can have them on the truck AND the trailer. My new truck has a built in system and my new LQ is running nitrogen filled tires which run 30% cooler. So, I no longer really need it. I guess I should sell it on Ebay or Amazon......

I have been looking at Bellacorp TPMS on Amazon. They have a lot of good reviews and seem to be a better price than some of the other brands. I think I am going to give them a try. I'll let you know how it goes. We have a trip planned to southern Colorado so that 1,500 miles should give them a good test.
