I was contacted by a company who I believe you would call a broker for trailers, you pay a fee of 399.00 and he helps sell, arrange finance, delivery and advertise. Says he can sell my trailer quickly, I have the name of company but not sure if i should post it here. wondering if anyone has ever delt with something like this before.. thanks

may not be all that bad a deal _IF____ you do not pay first and only after the sale.

I would be leary if they contacted you...usually, the seller contacts the company to help them sell the trailer or whatever...even if legit, I would ask myself 'why' are they contacting me, etc...and as the other poster inquired about when would you pay the fee??!!

I assume you already had the trailer listed for sale somewhere? I had a rv listed for sale on craigslist and had multiple companies call me and offer the same kind of deal. I think they have someone who looks at all the craigslist listing for things they think they can sell easily. I didn't use any of them to sell it though.

I would recomend this site for selling trailers...we don't do anything on Craigslist, it is a scavenger's site for bargains of questionable quality...

I would be VERY LEARY of a company calling you about this type of thing. If another company contacts you then I'd ask them to buy it and then they can resell it. I would be looking over any contract you sign with a fine tooth comb, hidden fees will eat up your part of the check! Post the trailer here and be in control of your sale.

You do pay first. Said that was to protect them from us selling out right or keeping. It helps pay for the ads. they help find financing for the parties also. its trucksdaily.com. and yes he did see my add, and called me.
