We are thinking of purchasing a 2007 Sundowner LQ..I read on another board that Sundowner had problems with their flooring for period of time up to 2006. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks for your assistance.

If the trailer you are looking at has a steel frame with Aluminum skin, run the other direction as fast as possible. Be leery of anything from Sundowner that has "suncoating" on it. If the "suncoating" lifts up it creates a pocket that corrosion occurs unchecked until it's too late. Hoping that others will chime in with the exact years involved. Have you searched the boards here and elsewhere? Lots of good info out there.

I had a 2003 that was a complete disaster by the time I knew there was a problem. My understanding is that it went from 2001 to 2008 but I could be wrong. Anything with the suncoat and the aluminum/steel hybrid, I would run quickly in the other direction.
