Does anyone have any ideas how to keep the water in a 1/2 moon 48 gallon water caddy with cap on top and spout on end from freezing. We hunt in CO with our horses in Nov and always have trouble with the horses water freezing in the caddy. The Tank and bucket heaters I have looked at will not fit it the cap in the top. This would be a good invention!

Great post and question. I camp in November and recently bought one of those caddies. It has been a super purchase. I'll keep watch here for any responses you receive with solutions.
