can anyone tell me why when I truck is hooked to my trailer,my inside lights don't work? They only work with my battery on the trailer. Tks

Check the truck's plug receptacle at the one o'clock position for 12 v. If there is none, check the truck's fuse box for a blown fuse. If it's a Ford SD, it will be the fourth maxi fuse from the front on the engine side. (30A) Also if it's a Ford, the key will have to be ON and if it's a diesel, some years only power the circuit when the motor is running. If that doesn't work, dissemble and check the trailer's plug at the same location for a loose or broken wiring connection.
