I have a 2011 Lakota Charger 3 horse. The 3rd stall escape door can only be opened/closed from the outside. We want to have egress from the inside and outside. The dealer wants $700 to remove existing locking arm and replace with a pass thru latch set. This includes the work required to add structural support for the safety of the horse. I have decided to leave the existing locking arm in place for traveling with a horse in the 3rd stall. I want to add a pass thru latch set to use when camping. The door is 2 inches thick and I have not been able to find anything that will work with a door this thick. I have not called Lakota yet because I know if they have one it will cost a small fortune. Anyone know where I might find what I am looking for.

What you actually want is a bower latch for the door. It makes the door work like the camper/LQ door does. We had one put on ours by Lakota when we ordered the trailer. I think it was about $200 at that time. It is a 2012 1/2. Yeah I know, Lakota does half year upgrades to models.
I have the e-mail and phone for AJ at Lakota. PM me if you want it. When I need something I just call her. On Wednesday I called and wanted to get new speaker covers for our outdoor speakers as they cracked from us running into bushes. AJ had them at our house by Friday afternoon and I installed them today. They are pretty quick and can take the order right over the phone.
As for installation, most any travel trailer dealer that does repairs could put that in for you.

Just looked up the invoice on my computer and it is called a "bauer latch". My spelling, not so good:)
It was $221 installed at the time of the order. Probably not that cheap after market but gives you an idea.
