I have recently purchased a used 2 horse gooseneck slant fron a large trailer dealership. I asked them to re-line the walls. They used a material I haven't seen before. It is black, shiny and hard. I'm concerned it will crack, scratch...Does this sound familiar to anyone? They also put floor mats down and when I removed them to clean they had never cleaned the aluminum floor underneath! These are new mats and one already tore when I put it back in. Taking it back in this week to have other issues dealt with and wanted to know what your thoughts were on the wall lining.

That is probably ABS which is a GREAT cover for the walls. All 3 of my trailers have had it and I've never had anything happen to it. If a horse kicks the trailer, it might scuff it a bit, but no chunks removed like rubber does.

Sounds like Rumber. Both of my trailers are lined with Rumber and it is almost bulletproof. Great stuff. I am getting ready to restore an old 6 horse van and I'm using Rumber to line the walls below the windows.
