Just wondering if anybody knows whats up with Timber Ridge in BSF, for some reason Horse Trails Directory has removed their listing, sure hope it hasn't closed.

Found out some info...the owner had requested that it be took down, according to the web-master he thinks they are re-organizing??? They are still open as the previous poster has noted.

Word is Dee has left and a divorce is in the offing. Lee has it by himself for now. Haven't heard if he'll have to sell or buy Dee out.
Lee and his son, Josh, are running it right now. They have hired a housekeeper to take care of the cabins and the common area as well as the restrooms. I do know that Lee wants to keep the campground if at all possible. They are going through a transition for sure, and working out some of the "bugs". I certainly hope they can keep it open and maintain all the features that made them a five star campground.

JUST got in from BSF. We stayed at SaddleValley but we met a lot of people on the trail that were staying there and Ed trailered a group over there so they could ride to Needles Eye. Said they looked pretty full.

I sure hate to hear that about Dee and Lee. I stayed there this past April. They were very good to me. I just hope that Lee can keep the campground as nice as its been in the past.

If you are on Facebook, go to the Horse Trails and Camping Across America page and ask about any campground or trail. With some 8000 members, someone has been there.

Going to SaddleValley this weekend. The owners will be gone on their Charitt Creek Ride but you should come hang out. It's a nice quite campground most of the time.

Just back from 6 days at TimberRidge and everything is fine. Yes, Lee/Josh are doing their best but we had no problems. They are completely booked in October and camp was about 2/3 full when I was there. The trails were awesome and bathrooms always clean. They operate on an "honor" system anyway, so you help yourself to ice, shavings, etc. if you unable to find anybody around. I would definitely go back.

Horsetraildirectory.com did not remove them, Lee requested to be removed due to some of the bickering that was going back and forth where there should have been reviews.
