Is it hard on axles, tires, etc to make tight turns and backs? It's not as if I do it every day but with a long flatbed pickup it's possible to basically spin the trailer in a circle and the tires start to do funny things like toe out and toe in...this is what they are supposed to do correct?

Soak the pavement where the tires are going to scuff, and the water will lessen the effects...:)

It's not good on hub and bearings, but sometimes is unavoidable. I try not to get into this condition if possible, especially on hard surfaces.

Ditto

I once saw a heavy LQ trailer peel a tire off a rim. It really puts a lot of stress on the running gear.

And if it is hard enough to peel a tire off of the wheel- fair chance of bending the torsion swing arm also. Have seen it done on large LGs that were loaded and on solid surfaces.
