Im in the process of upfitting the dressing room in my Adam trailer. Im insulating between the ribs, then furring with 1x4's then insulating again between those. In the floor of the neck and the floor of the dressing area I furred it with 1x4's and insulated between those, then covered with plywood. My question is this. How do you insulate the front wall going from the floor up into the neck? You cant screw furring strips t it cause they will show from the out side. I cant seem to find any examples on the net.

You can predrill the vertical wall from the outside, then use your 1x4's, and screw into them with 1/2 screws. This takes two people, as someone has to hold the furring until at least the bottom edge and the top edge are secured. Then insulate as the side walls, and cover. You will see some screw heads from the outside vertical wall, but they will be insignificant I think.Or, you can try construction adhesive to hold the strips, but with the flexing, and the temperature changing, I don't think they would work over time.

we welded strips across the top , middle and bottom, then put insulation between them. then you can screw your wood to that. you loose a few inches but it works wonderfully. have fun and good luck!

I converted an Adams GN last year and there are supports that outline the drop wall but they are extremely hard to screw in to. You can do it with patience. I built bench seating which helped me frame up that area, using floor and side walls to build off of.
