He pulled a Hut with a Toyota Tundra but that was rated to over 10K. He did state that it pulled the Hut without any problem. I could not find any reliable information on the net on the weight of the Hut. One site had it at 5800lbs and another at 10K. Call your dealer and get the actual weight on the rig you are looking for. All information did confirm that you should have a weight distro hitch and tow package on your vehicle.

It's been a while since I've been back here, but wondering if your friend's Hut has a LQ in it and if it is the 13' one? That's what I have. I also went ahead and got the sway and distribution kits to put on as well. I understand that there use to be a concern with swaying etc. due to the placement of the tires/axle with the weight of the horse(s) etc. and from what I could gather, Lakota had corrected that problem.
