Sorry but I don't know what they are called. The blue thing that you drain your black tank into and pull to the dump station. We bought one a few years ago because we thought we needed one. Well, we finally think we will actually use it on our upcoming trip. But...we don't know how it works! We know of course how to fill it up. But then once we pull it to the dump station, how do you empty it?
Inquiring minds want to know!! And we leave for our trip tomorrow so quick answers will be much appreciated!

What I have done with mine is make a sewer hose with the twist lock fitting on both ends of a sewer hose that is about 5 ft long so I lock it on the trailer and lock it on the portable dump tank. Then roll it to the dump station and with it locked on the tank raise one end and drain it in the dump station. Good Luck . PS This is a night time project ( when your senses are not as sharp if you know what I mean)

One key thing I learned the hard way... Make sure to loosen the vent screw located toward the top (or at least on mine) when you are filling it and unloading. I also made my own hose with connections on each end to keep me from having to hold it the entire time. It's only about a two foot long.

Well. We actually made it a whole week without having to use the tank so we still have no experience with it. But I will definitely keep these suggestions in the memory banks for future trips. We camped at Hard Labor Creek in Georgia and really enjoyed ourselves. Trails were not challenging but certainly more work for our boys than these flat sandy trails here in Florida. The campsite was lovely too. I highly recommend them!
