We have a 2006 Lunde Lift jack, electric over hydraulic. We took the cover off to check the oil, connections, etc. and couldn't see any way to operate the jack in case the motor malfunctions. I found an old add that states that it can be operated with a ratchet, but no explanation of how or where to do this. I know some of them have a place to put a jack handle but this one doesn't.Can someone give me a clue, or better yet a picture on how to use the ratchet? So far it has worked flawlessly but we all know what happens when you discover a potential problem. I'm afraid the next time we use it - well, we are all aquainted with Murphy. Thanks, Mule Mom

Thank you Paul, but no this isn't what I have. Mine is a 12,000 pound over hydraulic. Supposedly the hydraulics can be operated independantly of the motor (?) This is on a Cimarron trailer.

On the top there is a place to insert a tubular bar where you can pump the jack. On the right side behind the plastic cover there is a push-pull valve. You have to pump the jack up and down manually.
