Over the new years weekend, I stayed in my trailer 3 nights. Hooked up to city water. The 1st two nights the water pressure was perfect. The 3rd morning the shower acted like there was a leak or air getting in the lines. Checked the connections at faucet and trailer. No leaks. No leaks inside the trailer or underneath. I did not have the pump turned on, just using the city water pressure. After leaving and arriving at home I filled the holding tank and tried the pump and the shower worked perfectly. Was there something I did to make this happen(should have had the pump on), or air somewhere in the system. Going to south Texas finals on the 21st and don't want to have this problem again.

When hooked to city water, you don't need the pump on. The pump is to use water from the holding tank. Did city water pressure drop (feeding your trailer). Did you try hooking up to city water when back at home? Good luck

I didn't think I needed the pump on when hooked to city water. I just turned it on to maybe get air out of the line if that was the problem. As far as a pressure regulator, I think my trailer has one inline just inside the city water hookup. Maybe not.

The pressure regulator will protect your water system from an over pressure event to prevent damage. If the external water pressure falls below the regulated pressure, the regulator cannot maintain an even system pressure.
The regulator will limit a high pressure, but cannot maintain a set limit when the source is lower. It's the same result as when your gas bottles run empty. Once the system pressure falls below the regulated amount, the regulator no longer can control the pressure.
The OEM electric pump is self regulated, automatically kicking on at a low pressure and off when the desired ~45-60 PSI is reached.
Apparently the city water source was compromised. The hose to the trailer could have been kinked, stepped upon or other wise restricted. If many campers were using the water system at the same time, the supply line could have been of an insufficient volume to maintain the pressure. The inlet hose itself could have internally collapsed or been damaged.
Because your water system worked before, during and after this incident, leads me to believe the problem was the supply and not your LQ's system.
You can quickly test the system by hooking up your garden hose to the external supply port. If all is well, it should work again and you'll know the status of your system.

Thanks everyone for the ideas and recommendations. I don't have a water faucet close enough to where I park my trailer to try the hookup again so will either try it on the road or just use the water pump. Maybe everything will work well.
