Location: Toronto ontario canada		Does anyone have any experience with Champion 2000 watts inverter generator ? they claim a noise decible of 53db and Costco has them @ $499.00.

Location: Irricana, Alberta, Canada		Hi, Just went camping with a friend that had one - it is a lot more louder than the Honda - but it did the job.

Location: Toronto ontario canada		Danigirl, was your friend's Champion generator a portable  2000 watts inverter or one of the open commercial type ? If it was the new 2000 inverter, it should'nt be any louder than a Honda. They are both rated at 53 or 54db @ 7 meters.
