Just got off the phone with Carrier. They have stopped making the Carrier RV air conditioner. They decided the redesign for the new refrigerant wasn't worth the cost.
It's a good low power draw unit. I've been well served by mine.
Gov't limits consumer choice again. (As I stock pile 100 watt light bulbs for my "Easy bake" oven!)

That means that the sorry built "D-m-t-c" RV A/C units will continue to get sorrier, they will have no standard to go by.... Carrier is/was the top of the line RV A/C as far as I'm concerned. I guess I need to stock up on "oven heating elements" also...LOL!!
Bummer ... Carrier has exited our market
