The second Exiss was sold before we could get to the owner's home. We agreed to a price and time/day via email so it does feel kind of odd they sold it. I guess I can't fault them, they did get their asking price. In the mean time, our old second vehicle truck sprung another gas leak. We decided we'll just have to take our LQ trailer if we want to ride/vet etc. We ended up buying a VW Jetta SE for a dependable second vehicle. I love this car! I'm thinking everything happens for a reason.

You won't regret the Jetta. I have a 2004 Jetta TDI with 160K on it and it has been an awesome car. I said something to my husband yesterday about trading the Jetta and our mini van on a second truck and he said there is no way we'll ever get rid of the Jetta!

I tuttle around in a Jetta TDI Sportswagen DSG and love it! My high average is over 50mpg but I only get about 48 mpg in stop & go traffic. My hubby liked mine so well, he also got one! Both have less than 5000 miles on them so they will get even better when broke in! Our other cars had to have the highest grade of gas , which is only 3 cents cheaper than diesel, here at Wallyworld.
I had a older Jetta TDI back in the early 90's that had 285,000 miles on it when I sold it! I didn't really want to, but I got a really cool Saab traded in on a horse and hubby refused to drive a stick around the DC area.

Good to hear! It's fun to drive and parking is so easy. I'm shocked at how user friendly it is. It's comfrotable which I didn't expect in a small car. We made the right choice.
