Brought home our new 2011 GMC Diesel 3500HD.  You would never believe it is a diesel,  very quiet and smooth.  Had it less than a week and already had a speeding ticket and a flat tire.  Putting the gooseneck hitch on Thursday.  When going down the highway at 73 MPH the RPMs are only 1700.  It is beautiful,  even the cop liked it.

I've had a new 2011 F350 for two months. Very quiet, powerful and much better fuel mileage.  No speeding ticket or flat tires here. But I got a broken windshield 3 days after I got the truck.  Choose your favorite truck, They are all vastly improved over past generations.

My new truck cost 10,000 more than my first house.  Luckily,  it is toy/tool that both my husband and I will use the snot out of.  We have a little Sonoma with 230,000 and our old hauling vehicle has 130,000 so we really keep our vehicles a long time.  But yeah,  no matter what way you cut it ,  it was expensive.  I am not gonna say I deserve the blessings in my life,  but I certainly am thankful for them.
