I observed a rear tack area on a GN this weekend with a neat saddle rack.

The rack had a hinge at the base that, with the pull of a spring-loaded pin, allowed the entire 3-saddle rack to drop forward and down, making it easy to take saddles off of it, or better yet, put them back on it. The saddle rack, once loaded, would be restored back into place by manually pulling up/pushing it back and it locked into place. It's like the manual version of the Saddle Boss, I think it's called.

There were no names the owner could find on it, and we weren't about to unload all those saddles and pads to look for one, either. For our use, typically two light weight trail saddles and pads, it'd be neat to have one and not strain the back in using it.

does anyone know where I can find one? I'm not paying 1200 for the power version ;)
