Well I finally found a gaited mule that I could afford and one that knows what hes doing. I will be heading out to Shelbyville TN. tomorrow morning to pick him up. Its about a 7 hour ride each way for me so it will be a long day. I will post some pictures of him on here when I get him home.

Well i got my mule back home and couldn,t be happier. He was a professional walking horse trainers personal mule and he is smart as they come. Has a smooth running walk and a nice short lope. I took him on a 4 day camping trip with no problems at all.
My wife hasn't ridden in 2 years and decieded she wanted to ride him, well 6 hours later she told me I need to look for me a mule, she was keeping that one. As long as she will ride with me she can have it.

Wow-that must be some smooth ride for your wife to steal him! Anxious to see this mule. Would love to try gaited just to see the difference. I'm glad you got such a good buy.

Nice looking mule. We have a friend who had a mule that was 1/2 Paso Fino, it was one crazy flightly mule. He spent good money having it broke, but he never rode it. Thank god because he would've gotten hurt. Even the trainer who broke mules said it couldn't be trusted, he said maybe after year of riding every day for 4 hours it might make it.

I must say that I did get to ride the mule that is the wife of the trainer's and all I can say is WOW! I had a great ride and it was a lot of fun riding a mule. THe mule was very well trained and I told the trainer if I had a deep pocket book and could talk his wife out of her mule, I would buy him(mule).Hope you find another mule for yourself.

I rode a gaited mule on a Missouri week long riding trip and he was smoother and faster than all the MFT's & TW's on the ride. He looked alot like Moo and was a great ride. His dam was a MFT.

I ride a MFT and saw some gaited mules last yr at Clinton Ark Chuckwagon races and was very impressed by them. They could gait out just like my horse and looked very smooth doing it. If I was ever going to get a mule it would be gaited. Great Find and maybe u will be able to find u one now. My hubby rides a paint that can do a running walk to keep up with my gaited horse but says he will never get a gaited horse even tho when we really get to going down the road with other gaiters he is either trotting or galloping lol.
