This is probably a dumb question....but how do you hang something decorative on the wall of your LQ? Like a plaque or something lightweight....Thanks for your help and patience!

I have a picture hook on the top and velcro on the bottom so it is steady and doesn't flop around. I would think HD Velcro would work at the top also.

No hints? Or it really was a dumb question.... I just wondered if you put a hole in the wall somehow or used something sticky.

I think 3M makes an adhesive hook, or line of products used to hang stuff, that doesn't peel paint or wallpaper when you remove them. Any home improvement center, ie: Lowes, Home Depot, even Walmart, should have them.

I used the 3m hangers for light weight stuff but anything too heavy they won't hold up..

I used screws in the paneling to hold the item and then bought the heavy duty mounting foam to help hold it in place. If it is something valuable/breakable I would take it off while I was traveling. I got a cute Happy Trails clock that I'll need to change the battery occasionally so I will take it off the wall when hauling. I tried to use the heavy duty mounting foam to hang a mirror. After I went back into the house, went back outside and found it broken on the floor, so not quite strong enough.

Having finished a couple of LQ's...I have a really hard time using a screw to hang something from.

It's not like drywall. Oh, you don't like it anymore? No sweat. A little spackle and some paint...good as new.

Not so with a paneled surface as in a HT....that hole is there FOREVER!!

I'm not saying I don't do it...just brings a tear to my eye.

Thanks for the replies guys (laurie - I didn't even see your reply at all, isn't that weird?) I guess I'll have to look closely. I am thinking a screw or picture hook with the heavy-duty velcro to keep from shifting. Am enjoying my "new" LQ trailer so far and I haven't even taken a horse for a ride yet! (We did however camp at Disney already!! That was good for a couple of looks and the guy next door came over and wanted to know all about it as he's looking for a specially-built trailer for his own purposes...)

I was wondering about that. Also the hooks that came from the factory on my pictures are the sawtooth hooks. I took some of my horse photos and replaced there generic pictures to personalize it.

That's the sort of thing I'm thinking of, Laurie... And, I wouldn't mind a clock - saw lots of those in different trailers I looked at.

I used a few of the 3M type velcro sticky things...and I have to say they are working very well...I didn't want to screw or nail into the walls either..( I am not sure what is behind them)  they are sized by the weight of what you want to hang...heavier the pix the more you use... instructions are on the pkg.  Also available at Walmart..imagine that !!!!
