So the first truck I liked sold already. I found an older diesel truck. It's a 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 with a Cummins Diesel engine. 121,000 miles. Is that a good engine? I'm assuming the miles are okay with a diesel engine?

Neighbor had one. I think it would run forever. I know the body wasn't in to good a shape, but the engine ran good. Had tranny problems and other things, but no engine problems that I remember.

Engine is great. The tranny isn't. Ask the owner/dealer when the last time the tranny was serviced. Other than that, its a good truck with a great engine.
