We are looking at a Megacab.  We really need the room in the backseat for our tall kids.  How are they pulling gooseneck trailers?  Does anyone use these??  Thanks.

Paula

Looks to me that you might want to look at this other active thread with about the same topic.

My roomate in college had one and we used it a bunch. I love the room in those pickups that is for sure. Only thing you have to do is make sure you don't turn to sharp. Its not a whole lot different than pulling with a short bed crew cab which I've done for few years now too. Just be smart and you'll love that truck.

They work okay, but a word of warning I've seen 4 (with my own eyes, not one of those "I heard" stories) at their first rodeo with the rear window knocked out pulling into the parking lot. Even with a taper nose trailer if you get them past about 30 degrees of turn watch out.  B&W makes an offset hitch that would be a good investment if you're pulling a gooseneck.  Just reporting what I've seen, lots of megacabs working everyday just fine!
