Built a new wall to separate horse compartment from added weekend LQ. Want to match the shiny white paint in the horse compartment as close as is possible but the new wall is a smooth plywood as opposed to the existing metal. What can I do to get as shiny of a paint job as possible.

Buy some of the aluminum baked enamel sheets (that is what the trailer is made out of) and screw them onto the plywood. Anything else and it will just look like painted plywood. If there is no door to work around this should be a easy fix.

Apply a coat of high build primer, sand smooth to 320 grit and apply a coat or two of a single part automotive urethane paint of your colour choice.

You could also use a single part, high gloss polyurethane marine paint.
