Did you ever find someone who takes the time and everything works out.  Well, it was one of those evenings for us.  Some of you might know my family has a horse named Py and he is a paint, gelding.  He doesn't like his feet done (at all).  Needed them done real bad.  Someone recommended me to a farrier named Keith.  Called him and he came to where we have our horses.  It took two hours working with Py and Keith was great.  All feet done and nobody got hurt.  He ended almost having Py eating out of his hand.  Most farriers won't work with Py.  Keith was nice after he left the barn and said he will come back.  Now he has more horses to do here since people were watching how he handled him.    I'm sorry about writing but when you have a exceptional evening - I just had to share.  I hope your days and evenings are exceptional too.

I once  had such a farrier, he came to N TX from Louisiana to do horses once a month and we all waited in line.

Isn't a good farrier a blessing?  Sounds like you found a farrier and not just somone who can put on shoes.
