Depends greatly on your credit. Some people say it is hard to get a loan on a trailer.
I went to my regular bank and am paying 7.25% on a trailer I just bought this summer.
My last trailer I financed through the trailer dealer just to make it easy and I paid around 10%. Will always go to my bank from now on.

I work at a bank and depending on your credit depends on your rate. Also depends where you go. You going to just your normal bank or going to a credit union. Anywhere you go be prepared to put 10-15 percent down and your rate will probably be 5-10 percent interest.

In this economy, it might be a good idea to pay cash for any luxury items...but if you need to use credit, be certain that there are no demand clauses in the note, and that everything is crystal clear before signing. Sometimes the terms are pretty ambiguous and you can get a nasty surprise if anything goes "sideways". I also remember how hard it was to wait for some things I couldn't really afford. Get your best deal, don't salivate when you are at the bargaining table. Good Luck to you!
