Has anyone been here? Do they have horse facilities? My husbands family lives down there and we would like to take our horses with us for a visit. They all live around Jonesboro and the nearest horse camp we can find is over an hour away,(Village Creek in Wynne, AR) which is a little to far for comfort for us to leave the horses at camp alone. Any suggestions? We would like to be able to ride during the day and visit with them at nite for awhile.

OK, thanks everyone. I had looked at websites for both but sister in law said she thought Crowleys Ridge had horse facilities. Hey hammer we may try to be there on 10/10. We have the Okie Arkie ride (5 days) on 10/20 thru 10/25 in Sallisaw, OK if anyone is interested. Flyingfarm have you been on this ride yet? They have one in the spring that starts in Talequah, OK to Fort Smith, AR in May every year. Its 126 miles and you move camps everyday but it a good ride. The one in October the camp stays put and we ride out and back each day.

There are no horse facilities or trails at Crowley's Ridge State Park. It's only about an hour south of Jonesboro to Village Creek, however,we go down there and ride all time. But if you're looking for a place to camp and keep horses near Jonesboro, there just isn't any place other than Village Creek.
