We just purchased a 1998 Sooner trailer and the doors need to be replaced. The trailer is all aluminum but the doors are plywood covered with aluminum and the aluminum sheets need to be replaced. I think this is a common problem for this model trailer, I need to know where I can find replacement doors. Any help would be appreciated!

I would try Sooner @ http://www.soonertrailers.com/ or try Richard T Smith at 931-685-4040 http://www.selecttrailer.com/

Richard commonly handles this situation for other makes of trailers, sells Sooner, and is familiar with what is involved with the door replacements.

Just finished checking out the same thing on a 98 Sooner mill finish.

More than likely the doors/windows on the trailer were made by Hehr ,www.hehr-international.com.Sooner did not manufacture their own windows/doors.I called Universal who now manufacturers Sooner, and this is what I was told.Plus, there are decals on the windows and doors by Hehr.

Depending on the size and if it has a window and screen door, plan on about $500+ Shipping for a dressing room door.

The doors are 32.5" x 72". We have two this size that need replacing and there are also three doors of various sizes under the mangers that need to be replaced. They are manufacture by Hehr, there are stickers on the doors and the seller told us that Sooner subcontracted the doors out for a period of about 3 years.

That's their website, the doors that are described and like the one we were needing replacement for aren't pictured. They would have to have the dimensions, possibly email them pictures, and they have to fabricate replacements for them unless you are willing to settle for a non-matching door for the trailer.we wanted to keep ours as close to original as we could, however. Unfortunately, they are not cheap,I will say that.
