We had to have our 31 year old Arabian stallion euthanized yesterday due to an advanced stage of cancer.  He had been loaned to us from God for a period of almost 28 years.  We are devastated beyond words.

Don't grieve for me

As I am free

And run in God's green pastures

No stall or pens to keep me in

My heart is filled with laughter.

You never owned me

But I owned you

Love was a common factor

I loved you too

And I wait for you

To ride again in the great hereafter.

Farewell fond and faithful friend.  Rest in peace.

I am so sorry.  It's never easy-regardless of their age.

So sorry to hear that. I'm sure after having him that long it was devastating. It's never an easy thing to go through no matter what...

I have been in your shoes and my only comfort was in knowing I did the right thing for my friend. Run free, old friend.
