I am wondering about personal experiences (or even a friends experience) with ANY horse trailers that have not been up to par or even dangerous.
What make, model and year was it?
What did you have problems with?
This can be new and old horse trailers...I know that on older horse trailers you have the factor of what the previous owner(s) did or did NOT do to take care of it. List these factors...was in already abused when you got it or was it kept under cover, washed out regularly, maintained well, etc.
Is there any trailers out there that had a MAJOR recall that you would be weary of when looking to buy trailer?

We had a Blue Moon trailer (the one with the detachable LQ) that was darn right dangerous..if you forgot to fasten the ties properly, you would be driving along and the next thing was the horse area was off in a different direction. \fortunately that model came with air bags for the horses, so we suffered no injuries.
Other than that it was a very functional trailer. lol

My roomate that I taveled with to college rodeo's had a trails west and I would never buy one his axel fell off twice and just a poorly made trailer. I'm not sure that I would buy a logan coach, they look nice but very heavy and I'm just not real impressed by what I've seen so far.
