I sold my Pal paint back to the lady i bought her from. I can't ride her because the good ole QH is just to rough for me. So a year ago I went gaited. I bought a twh then rescued a mft filly got her healthy and resold her. I delivered the pal back to Columbus OH then went a few hrs north close to Akron and picked up a 4yro MFT gelding. I drove 1116 miles in 2 days, but so far it was all worth it. So far he is so quite it scares me..He needs about 200lbs put on him, a good scrubbing, his feet done and I think I will have a nice horse. I was a little teed because the owner posted pics that were old and he was fatter and healthier. But he is a nice lil horse he is 15.1 and 878lbs good legs big boned.He needs more human interaction not a in your pocket guy buy he is learning real quick who feeds him and who has the treats. So he is trying to bond.

I'm hoping he won't turn totally grey. I'm not really a fan of grey but with the black on him makes it better..I'm going to take him out as soon as it quits raining here. I'll let cha know how he does....Just can't wait to feel that fox trot....

Well I got on him yesterday before the thunder storm hit. And he was fine, he was getting on the bit some what and wanting to roll and not walk. I have him in a full cheek snaffle. He for sure needs some miles on him. Even though he's on the light side I'm taking him to the mountains next weekend and see how he does. Won't push him and mainly to get him use to bigger things. I'm going to work him as much as I can untill then...But no buck,bite or rear so we have a good start..... I have been grooming the heck out of him. He is looking a liitle bit better. This weekend 80 degrees so bath time!!!!

Well our first trail ride went well. He crossed everything I ask of. He was a little nervous but did not put up a lot of refusal...I was very proud of him. Here's few pics.
