Anyone have trouble with rain entering the side vent for fridge? If so how does one fix it?The water leaks down under the fridge and spreads to the rest of the floor in the kitchen area of the living quarters.HELP!I am pretty sure its coming from the vent it only leaks when its raining and i covered vent on roof and on the side with plastic to see and once i taped to seal the top of the side vent the water stopped.Mira

We are having the same problem. but can't tell if the water is coming in thru the side vent or a leak on the roof. Since there haven't been any replies to your post, I was wondering if you determined what the problem was and how you fixed it.

Have the same problem on a new frig installation. Since it was a a diy I was my only recourse. I've cut a aluminum panel to fit over the side vent, drilled 2 small screw holes attached 2 screws with glue thru the vent, drilled holes in the panel and secured with wing nuts. This is only good for storage at the house or when frig isn't in use.

Several years ago, I had the same problem. Found that the side vent wasn't installed properly. The bottom edge of the frame slanted to the inside of the compartment and let any water that came in, run down the wall and then out into the trailer. Had to shim the bottom of the vent frame so that it sloped to the outside; problem solved.
