How much more do you feel people will pay not to have to crank.  Is there a market for a better way to lift LQ?

Some people will pay, some people won't. That is the reason you see the hydraulic jack as an option.

I have wondered why the trailers with it's own air compressor for the rear suspension don't utilize this same compressor and reservoir tanks to supply an air cylinder or bag to jack/lift the trailer off the hitch ball. Once the trailer is lifted off the hitch and then lowered, there would need to be a way to lock it in place to keep it steady, or else it would pogo up and down as people and/or creature/critters entered and exited the trailer.

The new jack is comming out in june.  It works very well for goosnecks in particular.  I have two discs out in my back so this will help tremendously.

Drew... I find your postings posing as a third party disingenuous.  Instead of being deceitful, just come out and say you’re selling a trailer jack that could be of interest to us.

I’ve found this forum audience to be particularly harsh to poseurs and incompetents.  You will too.

That website leaves a little to be desired.  Hope the jack has more features.

all right heres the deal.....i had my eq jack in at a dealer and talking with eq systems they couldnt figure out the problem so i had to send the manifold and pump back to eq systems for them to look at if they cant fix it i have to buy a new one can you believe that its 4 years old and its shot what a piece of shit....... i will never buy a nother one if its shot/......i might go to an electric one instead of a hydraulic one plus there cheaper....i would think that a jack should last longer then 4 years....and the warranty is only 3 years...... man am i mad....

How often do you use your landing gear, and what kind of conditions do you work or use your trailer?

i use our jack just on weekends and its probably lowered and raised 2-3 times per weekend atr most.... easy conditions only during summer i dont use trailer during the winter.....theres no reason the jack is four years old and its shot??????if a guy spends 1300-1500 on a jack it should not be shot in four years   ....

Can it not be fixed? It's a little hydraulic pump and some lines and valves, can't be but so much wrong with it... You ain't going to make me believe it's "shot".... Maybe it's got a stuck relief valve from not using it in the winter, pump motor is dragging, e.i., low voltage, bad ground, etc... Wrong fluid??? Anyway, for less than $200.00 all your worries can be over.... You can go the ARM-STRONG route.   http://totaltrailerparts.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=219&products_id=2297

Good luck getting it fixed.... maybe take it to your local hydraulic repair shop.... The folks that rebuild pumps and cylinders, leave it on the trailer so they can see exactly what it's doing... Keep us informed on what you find out, there's several of us here that have Hydraulic landing gear.
