I've got a 1995 3 Horse Goosneck and have had no problems with it. It's all a matter of taste and what you can afford I guess. Just remember, to me anyway, as long as it is structurally sound, you've got good electric and lights, tires and brakes, then any trailer will work as long as you know your needs and limitations.

I don't know about the "good years", but I would stay away from the older FRP trailers..... With age and a little damage, (cracks, holes, dings, etc...) they have a tendancy to "delaminate". They are also a right much heavier that an all aluminum trailer.
