I need to replace the fuse that allows me to turn my flood and compartment lights on on my trailer. I have an Elite and the 2 batteries are located under the neck. there is a line (wire) connected to the batteries that you pull apart and the fuse goes in there. What's the name/size of the fuse? Anybody? thanks!

it's a white tube with metal caps, not a square one. and it's not clear tube either, so i was wondering if i needed to go to an rv place to get it or can get it anywhere they have automotives. i'm going to take the burnt one out and take it with me to get another one. just thought somebody might know off the top of their head.

If it's a 14 gauge wire, it will probably have a 15 amp fuse. If it's a 12 gauge wire it might have a 20 amp fuse. A 10 gauge wire would have 30 amp fuse.
Any auto parts store and most Walmart and Sears auto centers should have replacements. The amperage will be printed on the metal base of the fuse. You may need a magnifying glass (at least I do) to read the rating. They come in a small tin and plastic box that holds about a half a dozen fuses. It's good to keep spares on hand.
