Well, We spent the evening in ER yesterday.. My daughter was riding my mare and tried to come out of the arena through a inward swinging metal gate as it was closing.. Instead of stopping Tamber, she just tried to push the gate back open, which, due to Murphey's Law, didn't work.. Tamber, of course kept walking on through..The gate pinned my daughter's leg into Tamber's side and she got raked right off the back, doing (I'm told) a somersault before landing and skidding on her face.. I didn't see it happen, I was in the barn, but I'm told she landed kinda funky.. She wasn't knocked out but her left face was scraped up, her chest was bleeding over her collarbone, and her left ankle was as big as a softball almost instantly....  I took her to the ER where I work.. Thankfully they weren't too busy, got her straight back and started working on her right away... Long story short, after head CT, chest CT, a comple spinal CT, xrays on both ankles and her collarbone, we only ended up with a fractured fibula.. the little "tail piece" that joins to the outer aspect of the ankle... ...Thank God....... Tamber was not hurt and, Bless her Heart, didn't panic, which she would've done in a big way a couple of years ago.. I guess she finally merits losing the label of "Sqiurrel".     Now I'm holding my breath and waiting to see the hospital bill...

I bet that was scary for all concerned. Wishing for a speedy recovery for your daughter AND your wallet.

That's a scary scenario.  I'll bet your heart is still thumping like a trip hammer!  Glad everyone is going to be ok.
