THANK you for all the wonderful healing sent!!

Thank to my sweet neighbors who bought me food. Tracy...you're soup
was yummy. Susan, chix noodle soup is my favorite and taking care of
my dogs...you rock!

Thank you for all the phone calls and text messages I have gotten, I
know I was not making any sense during some of those calls.

Thank you Bill for your daily joke texts, you know it's not FAIR to
make folks who are in pain laugh while that poor person is trying not
to move due to intense pain! Knock..knock..!!

Thank you Miss Betty! For taking time to drive me back into the city
when I badly needed my half cast removed cuz it was cutting the
circulation off and I had been crying for hours from pain. Betty took
time away from her sleeping schedule to help me out.

Thank you to my sweet hubby Dan, who's work day is 14-15 hours long.
He comes home... feeds my ponies, fills my EBIce cooler with ice
cubes, spends hours blowing the driveways out, kisses me good night
and does it all over again...the next day. Dan is BTW...a non-horsey
type of guy, but very supportive of my horsey addiction.

Ten days of intense pain and lack of sleep. Ten days hooked up to the
EBIce cooler. Arm/fingers are many shades of purple, black and green.
Had a hard time with pain management and sleeping cuz I had adverse
reactions to the meds.

But....every day it's getting better!

Awww Ice I feel your pain. I can relate to the pain from swelling. If I could of gotten my roto zip tool and changed the tip. I would have been out of cast at 3 weeks instead of 6.. I just got mine off the 23rd and even though my wrist looks fat, purple, and is tender it's feels alot better.Now 6 weeks of a brace and therapy. Good luck... Yes and all the ones that take care of us in times like this..Thank You

How you break your wrist? Which bone? Mine were the carpel bones...I shattered all eight.

Wow!!! I think you went through more than me. I didn't break it and no carpol even though I thought that's what is was. I had 2(TFCC) tears in my wrist and who knows for how long. It got to the point were it was always hurting etc. So now it's therapy for 6 weeks. Good luck hope everything gets back to normal for ya..It was sooooo nice to go out and be able to clean stalls, even though it took a long time...the mental therapy was enough...  I hope to be able to ride soon....

So IcePony how are ya doing? I'm starting my last week at therapy. Wrist still tender but not enough to stop me.I think I still have some healing time though. Don't have all the range of movement I had. Plus this dang cold weather doesn't help either.....but atleast now I can play with the horses

Hello!

I just started PT last Thursday!! Fingers are starting to move...I can stretch them, but can only bend the last three. Pain is getting much better!!

Three more weeks of "no use of right arm". And per doctor, no riding or barn chores.
