The trailer we bought is a 2000 model. I am very happy with it, and it is exactly what we needed, perfect for us!
BUT, the aluminum skin(i guess you would call it) is white and it just looks crappy, kind of streaky, spoty and dingy. We stopped at a big truck wash and had it washed, but it still just looks kinda bad. Is there anything we can do, or is it just time to repaint it? And can you easily repaint these aluminum trailers?

Aluminum trailers can be repainted, but I would try one of the "brighteners" first. I would not use an acid wash on a painted surface or an aluminum trailer with a "bright" finish, both could be damaged.
There are many threads in the searches that address this issue.

The following was posted by N2 Ridin on a separate thread:\
I thought I'd let my husband wash the trailer 3 times with this method (and it does work), before I posted the results.
He puts just the slightest amount of rubbing compound on a very wet sponge and wipes the black streaks away with very little effort
Thank you so much! Now could you please have him come over and show me on mine....it is a 6 horse head to head with a oversized middle area and medium sized LQ, 8.5 feet tall....there is just a bit of area to cover LOL!!
I guess if I try that, I wont need to go to aerobics for awhile! And I am sure I will try it cause anything has to be worth a try before going to the extent of painting it! Thanks again

Well,I can tell you this: depending on how many black streaks there are on your trailer, and how bad they are, washing it with something is NOT going to take them off.Yeah,we did ours, and it was like going around the Titanic or something. But,that's the way it goes.
