Four of us spent a glorious 3 days and 2 nights at Ft. Valley, Virignia, Horse Camp over the weekend. We rented a cabin that slept 4. It came with fridge, microwave, stove, sink and bathroom with shower. The cabin came with bunk beds and a fold out fouton. It was snug, but comfortable. We put an air mattress on the fouton, which was comfy. Also had a small satellite T.V.! Outside was a fire ring and picnic table. We also had 4 individual roomy pens for the horses. TOTAL COST for all 4 of us (horse pens included) was $105! The trails range from easy to very difficult, with maps provided. Leaves were at their peak, and the weather fabulous! The new owners were very kind and accomodating.

We were going to Fort Valley but decided to go to Graves' Mountain instead. It was a wonderfull weekend in the mountains. The leaves were changing the days were warm and cool nights..We field camped at 10$ a night per horse. It was hard coming home yesterday.... Glad that you had a great time at Fort Valley. I'm sure Bill & laura enjoyed your visit also.
