Priced a new Chevy diesel 3/4 crew cab Tuesday, but didn't make it down there in time for the huge incentives they were dolling out this past weekend. But my question is...how many of you pull a trailer with a Chevy, and do you like it?? I'm driving an '04 Ford 250 deisel, and I have a 2 horse 10 ft. LQ Bison. I've not had any problems pulling with my Ford, but all my friends here (OK) drive Ford deisels, so I have no comparison. Any comments?

Have an 07 Classic dually pulls aZ 3 horse , 12 ft. LQ and midtack.  Loaded, 2 mules etc. weighs 13,700.lbs. Pulls fine. The 3/4 ton will have same tranny and rear end  engine will have the added pollution stuff but that truck should do fine.Usually get between 10.6 - 11.7 mpg pulling trailer. The 08's will be somewhat lower at least that whai I've been told.

We use two 05 Chevy 1 ton diesel duallys and 1 07 Chevy 1 ton 6.0 gas and occassionally an 08 Chevy 4500 duramax. They all pull fine and have had very few problems. All are automatics. We have used fords & dodges both and are not really partial to any. The duramax's have had slightly stronger pulling power for us. Hope this helps.
