Hello to the forum,

We are getting really close to buying this trailer.  Exiss 307 Sport, 2006, Just wanting to get any feed back at all about it.  It does have full living quarters and is a 3 horse. If anyone has this exact trailer, do you know what size axles & tires it has?  We forgot to ask the owner! :(

Thanks ahead to all who respond!

A call to DHMC or any other Exiss dealer would probably prove beneficial. The Exiss web site doesn't specify the axle ratings. Many of the Sport models have lighter axles/ wheels/tires than the Event models.

Generally the number of lug bolts are in indication of the weight ratings. The lighter rated axles have six lug nuts. Our smaller 4' short wall Exiss Event LQ has the eight lug bolts and the axles are rated a 5200# each. I believe Exiss uses 16" wheels on all their models. On the left side of the nose of the trailer is a data plate which lists the capacities of the installed axles. Perhaps a quick call to the owners would clear up your research.

Sorry I can't provide you with specifics     Gard

I had a 2006 407 with the living quarters. I do not know how often you use your trailer, but I rodeo so mine was used almost every weekend. In my opinion this is not a heavy duty enough trailer for someone who will use it as much as I did. I only pulled it for a little over a year and it was already falling apart. I traded it for an Elite and I love it.

You asked about the tires - mine had a passenger grade tire on it so blow outs were a common problem for me. I really do not think that the axles and or tires are heavy enough for a trailer. JMO
