I paid $3.39/gal for diesel here in NE Ohio this week. Not very excited about the fact it's that high, as I am headed to OKC on Saturday for the reining futurity. Thank God I have two "payers" there and back, or this trip might break me!!!! Wish me luck and hope that I win something or sell something while I'm out there! ;0)

It is anywhere from 3.25 to 3.41 around here. Don't know why there is 16 cent difference in the price just 15 miles apart. The high and low are from the same gas company.

$2.95 for gasoline, $3.24 for diesel in my part of Texas this morning. I thought that ethanol was going to make us less dependent on foreign oil? Now I see where the price of ethanol is falling at the production level, but gasoline prices are still escalating. Think I'll look at the hybrid GM truck next year, sell the LQ trailer, install stock panels in the back of the truck to haul horses, and buy a tent. LOL

I paid $3.39 a gallon in OKC last week when I came home fom the AQHA World Show. Darn truck sucked in 118 gallons of the stuff. I will probably have sticker shock when I top off the tanks on Monday as we head out again. Thank goodness it is for a trailriding excursion this time and not another horseshow.

With these crazy fuel prices, what are people charging to haul horses across country? How much to dead head or do a round trip, $1.00 a mile days are long gone.
